2019 Fulbright Recipients

Six special Lobos are preparing to go beyond their textbooks and classrooms to experience a once-in-a-lifetime educational opportunity to travel and study as Fulbright Scholars. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program, introduced by Senator J. William Fulbright in 1945, is the largest U.S. exchange program offering opportunities for students and young professionals to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching and primary and secondary school teaching worldwide.

The Fulbright Program currently awards approximately 1,600 grants annually to U.S. students in all fields of study and operates in more than 160 countries worldwide.
